Well, I made it through another family trip. It was insane, as always. My siblings drove me up the wall. We got lost a couple of times, and then there was that memorable incident at that tourist trap.
I'm drained, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. We have stories to tell.

My laptop is officially silenced/turned off/put away. Emails can hold on until I get back. Social media can keep spinning. I picture mountains covered in snow filled with the scent of fresh-baked cookies, where time stands still. It's not about reality/escaping from life/finding perfection, it's about creating a sanctuary/building an oasis/dreaming big and letting that vision/imagination/fantasy fuel my spirit/soul/inner self.
